Knobbe Martens Partner Eli Loots will present during a webinar on "A Practitioner's Guide to Recent Developments in Patent Term Adjustment (PTA): The AIA Technical Corrections Act and the Exelixis Decisions". On April 1, 2013, the USPTO published an "interim final rule" relating to Patent Term Adjustment (PTA), to implement changes to the PTA statute embodied in the AIA Technical Corrections Act. This webinar will explain these changes and provide practical guidance on how to implement this new rule. In addition, the webinar will explain the competing holdings in the two Exelixis v. Kappos district court holdings, and provide strategies on how to maximize PTA and navigate these unsettled waters."
