Knobbe Martens Partner Andrew Simpson will be speaking at an informative OCTANe event titled "Getting value out of Intellectual Property in foreign countries – A different approach than in the U.S." on Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the Louis J. Knobbe Conference Center located in the Orange County office.

• An overview of patent litigation in foreign countries, especially Europe.
• Where and how you should enforce your patents.
• Proactive strategies for when you are likely to get sued for infringement.

The presentation will have an emphasis on medical device technologies, but should be of interest to anyone involved in obtaining, enforcing or defending against foreign intellectual property.
