San Diego Partner Boris Zelkind will be presenting on May 19, 2016 at the San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association (SDIPLA) May meeting. He will be discussing the recently passed federal trade secrets legislation, the Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016 (DTSA), and its impact on trade secret litigation. The discussion will include a comparative analysis of the state schemes for trade secret protection. The DTSA will shape IP and litigation strategies going forward and it should become part of every IP practitioner’s vocabulary.
