Description

RYUKA IP Law Firm and Knobbe Martens are delighted to co-host a 2-hour international IP seminar by a distinguished panel of global patent practitioners.

The lecture will focus on the cost-saving and time-saving techniques for start-ups as well as emerging and other cost-conscious companies. Topics will include assessing when your company should initiate its IP strategies in or between the U.S. and Asia, determining how to do so, as well as obtaining patents that will be valid across the U.S. and Asia. When an invention is filed in multiple countries, for example, more effective patents can be obtained at a minimal cost by coordinating prosecution timing and orders among the multiple countries. The panelists will also talk about the most important and basic check points for filing an invention in multiple countries.

Speakers:

Mr. Aki Ryuka of RYUKA IP Law Firm, JAPAN and Mr. Andrew B. Schwaab of Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, USA.
