Lori Lee Yamato is a partner in our Orange County office. Her practice includes advising on and negotiating transactions involving intellectual property and technology, preparing complex licensing and assignment agreements, assisting with trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement, developing patent strategies, and enforcement of intellectual property rights. She provides counsel to a range of clients, including privately-held and public companies, universities, non-profit organizations and entrepreneurs, in diverse industries, such as high tech, consumer products, software and information technology, financial services, fashion, apparel, food and beverage. She has been recognized by Intellectual Asset Management magazine as one of The World’s Leading Patent and Technology Licensing Practitioners.
Ms. Yamato graduated from the University of Michigan Law School, cum laude, and obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, magna cum laude.
