Knobbe Martens' Carol Pitzel Cruz Named 2011 Washington Rising Star By Super Lawyers Magazine

Carol Pitzel Cruz, litigation partner in the Seattle office of Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, has been named to the 2011 Washington Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers magazine for her intellectual property litigation practice. The Rising Stars list includes top attorneys who are age 40 or younger and/or have been in practice for less than ten years.

Pitzel Cruz represents clients in all aspects of intellectual property disputes, with a focus on patent litigation. She is experienced in pharmaceutical litigation, especially litigation involving Abbreviated New Drug Applications under the Hatch-Waxman Act. Pitzel Cruz began her career at Knobbe Martens as a summer associate in 2001 and joined the firm after graduating with honors from The George Washington University Law School in 2002. She became a partner in 2008.
