Professional Profile 

Zi Y. Wong is a partner in our San Francisco office.

Mr. Wong specializes in patent protection for semiconductor-related technologies, such as semiconductor chip manufacturers, and semiconductor equipment manufacturers. He also represents clients in other technologies, including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.  His practice includes patent procurement, counseling on infringement issues and intellectual property due diligence.  He has written and prosecuted patent applications directed to, for example, semiconductor processing equipment, integrated circuit fabrication flows, circuit layouts, scaling techniques, basic integrated circuit fabrication processes, including various chemical vapor deposition processes, and monoclonal antibodies.  He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 1998.  He then received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2001. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Wong was a summer associate in 2000.

Mr. Wong joined the firm in 2001 and became partner in 2007.
