Tirzah Lowe has many years of experience protecting brands and content across the globe, particularly in the media and entertainment space. She was the lead intellectual property attorney at 21st Century Fox negotiating its $71 billion acquisition by The Walt Disney Company. During her years working at Fox and NBCUniversal, Tirzah was entrusted with such famous IP portfolios as The Simpsons, Avatar, Fast & Furious, Ice Age, Fox Sports, Despicable Me/Minions, Gumby, Bob’s Burgers, The Sound of Music, and many more. Outside of her work for the studios, Tirzah has represented such clients as Taco Bell, Carl’s Jr., Ruby’s Diner, the Orange County Register, Shaquille O’Neal, and Oscar de la Hoya. She is well versed in trademark filings, trademark licensing, advertising, marketing, and social media reviews, rights of publicity, copyrights, domain names, UDRP proceedings, oppositions & cancellations, content protection, DMCA notices and takedowns, and IP enforcement.
Tirzah is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and currently serves on its Presidential Task Force. She also is a past President of the Orange County Asian American Bar Association (OCAABA) and sits on its Executive Advisory Board.
