Professional Profile 

Fred Nicholson is an Associate in our San Diego office. Mr. Nicholson specializes in intellectual property law, with an emphasis in intellectual property litigation and the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the computer, software, and networking fields.  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nicholson was a software engineer at Hewlett Packard for 10 years, where he developed operating system network software, instrument control firmware, and Microsoft Windows software.  Later, Mr. Nicholson held a variety of management positions in software development organizations, leading teams of up to forty software professionals.

Mr. Nicholson joined the firm in 2010.
